We get so focused on the situation we’re walking into that we forget who we are walking in with (guilty of this). But we are walking in with a God who is completely immutable—unchanging and constant. He is consistent.

So, when we are in consistent communication with God, we get to fall back on the reassurance that He will give us answers. He will give us validation. He will say yes or no. He will give us confidence. He will show us where He wants us and when He wants us there.

That means when we walk into situations, we can trust that God will specifically call us to the very places He has specifically placed us. We get to walk into the next season with confidence—because we asked.

Relationships take effort every day, day and night. That doesn’t mean they’re easy, or that expectations will always be met. It means that every day, you get to choose to dwell with the Lord. Every day, you get to humble yourself before Him, knowing that He is beyond human understanding.

So yes, He will answer—but it won’t be how we expect. It won’t be in the way we think. It will be perfect, because the answer is coming from a perfect God.
