God is the only one who can quench my thirst.

The longings I have in this life can only and will only be fulfilled by Him. The things of this world, while sweet and filled with joy, love, and comfort, are simply temporary.

Everything good in me is Him and only Him.

I’ve learned that I can give nothing from an empty well, and my well can only be filled by the One who keeps it. He is my Keeper.

I cannot be okay in this world based on the words or promises of others. But God’s grace is so abounding, and by His grace, I can be more than okay because He is.

Even when I am weak.
Even when I am struggling.
Even when I’m insecure.
Even when I am stressed.
Even when I’m surrounded by sorrow.
He is. He was. He is to come.

He sees me.
He hears me.
He knows me.
And through it all, He loves me endlessly with great gentleness.

Even if the worst happens, I will praise Him.
Even if everything around me feels like too much, I will choose Him.
Even if my heart’s longings on this earth are never fulfilled, I will still long for Him because I know He is my certainty.

The love He has given me here on earth is just a small, sweet reflection of His perfect love for me. The precious gift of others in my life is a reminder, one I hold dear with deep gratitude.
